Co-organised by DG MOVE and RailNetEurope, the Rail Freight Day will be held in the Austrian capital for the third time..

The Rail Freight Day 2017, featuring a keynote address by EU commissioner Violeta Bulc, will follow up the Rotterdam Political Declaration and Sector Statement.

The following round table will involve DG MOVE, Ministries, RNE, Infrastructure Managers, Rail Freight Corridors, Railway Undertakings and many others association and stakeholders representatives :

• Rotterdam Ministerial Declaration and Sector Statement: Where do we stand with the sector priorities?
• Interoperability in rail freight,
• Lessons learnt from the Rastatt incident?
• Rail freight capacity issues,
• Train Tracking and Tracing - Estimated Time of Arrival,
• Rail Freight Corridors: The way forward?
